1. Thanks for taking some time to be interviewed. Can you please introduce your self and tell us just a bit about what you do? *
My name is KEENiE, and I make music in San Diego, CA.
2. When, where, and why did your journey in music begin? And did you have another project before this one? *
I’ve always been very into music, and had played a part in a few bands, but this is my first solo project. Making the full music and lyrics, everything along the way- it’s been a very fulfilling challenge along the way! Haha
3. Who gets bragging rights for helping you get to where you are now? *
There’s the obvious of my ever loving and supportive family and fiance. But I also owe a lot to my brothers at Possessed Promotions, Aaron Perry (Asmodeus) and Patrick McElravy (Seethe). I’d also like to shout out TMRC Assault on Instagram and everyone involved there.
4. What can we expect from you in the future? New albums, releases, music videos? *
I have a new EP titled BLOSSOM hitting stores on June 15th, and I’ll have a new single by the time Possessed Promotions releases our next sampler later this year.
5. Who is your favorite artist within the Trapmetal subgenre? *
Ghostemane is the GOAT, but I also gotta shout out Scarlxrd, OMENXIII, Despised Masses, and PRXJEK.
6. If you could go on tour with anyone in the world, alive or dead, who would be on the bill with you? What is your dream tour? *
Homie Fest! Lol Asmodeus Seethe Shrill Nihil (free Shrill) I’d also get some of the local scene- Tripwire Victimized And I’d bring back Impale Thy Neighbor
7. What are the pros and cons of your local scene? Where do you see room for improvement? And what are your music scene’s strengths? *
No cons other than a lack of trap metal lol Thankfully though the local hardcore/metal scene has always been supportive! 10/10 San Diego Hardcore! Shoutout 62 Booking
8. Where do you see your self in 5 years? What about 10? *
5 years from now I’m hoping to have a full band at the very least lmao 10 years, if I don’t have something solid going imma be PISSED 😂
9. What is a favorite song or video of yours that our readers should check out? And where is the best place to check you out online? *
