The intro to DANCE WITH THE DEVIL by JVNEBVG comes in like a syth punk fever dream. Borrowing the title from that one Immortal Technique song you wouldn’t play around your mother… These vocals are more chill yet full of emotion and don’t have such grotesque imagery.
Any screaming is mixed into the background as more of a back up texture. JVNEBVG’s vocal performance is always flawless and solid. Production is great. Crispy clean and not overpowering like many tracks from the synth punk sub genre. This song is about going hard regardless of how you feel. Maybe you don’t feel 100% cuz you are a slave but dance with the devil regardless because at the end of the day, blowing off a little bit of steam and having some joy is all we got sometimes. An excellent release from JVNEBVG I give it a 10/10.
