Butcher’s Hook – JVSYMBIXTE Raw, unfiltered, and soaked in DIY menace, JVSYMBIXTE’s new single “Butcher’s Hook” hits with genuine weight. The beat is epic and thick with dark, cinematic atmosphere — brooding low-end and industrial-tinged percussion that feels more like a black metal dirge than standard rap production. What elevates it is JVSYMBIXTE’s vocal performance. His gutturals are vicious, sinister, and delivered with real taste and control, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the best black metal vocalists. There’s aggression here, but it’s never mindless — it’s commanding. The only real drawback is the mix: the vocals occasionally overpower the beat, swallowing some of its atmospheric depth. A professional engineer would take this track to another level. Even so, the vision is clear and potent. This is an artist with serious potential. I can only imagine how devastating these songs hit live.7/10 — A strong, atmospheric release that already demands attention. With a polished mix, this could be a complete banger.
