saVVana brings heavy energy on “WOAH”, but does the track fully land? Here is our breakdown: The track kicks off with FL Studio electric guitar samples, a plugin sound that feels a bit played out since the early 2010s. Paired with a hook that feels slightly repetitive and cheap, the intro might make you hesitate. The song completely redeems itself the moment the verse hits. saVVana shows a discriminating taste behind his vocal performance, delivering sharp cadence and raw energy. While this leans heavily into ragecore (with some trap metal influences), raging doesn’t mean skipping depth, we’d love to hear more introspective lyrical content in the future, even if it’s being screamed. The cover art feels like a DIY Photoshop job. While that lo-fi aesthetic might have been intentional, a track with this level of production quality deserves cover visuals that go a bit harder. All in all, “WOAH” is a solid release. It might not stand out in a completely unique way just yet, but saVVana’s raw talent shines through. We’re definitely excited to hear how he continues to develop his sound in the future.
